Introduction
AFGenie is an AI WhatsApp document bot platform that turns Documents into searchable knowledge bases and answers user questions directly on WhatsApp.
- Upload Documents once and keep answers consistent for your team or customers.
- Each bot has its own persona, document collection, and WhatsApp connection.
- Use the dashboard to ingest content, monitor status, and control spend.
Login & account access
Go to https://afgenie.ai and sign in to reach your workspace dashboard.
- Click "I already have an account" (or sign up if you're new).
- Use your work email + password, complete the CAPTCHA, then hit Log in.
- After login you land on the Workspace Dashboard, which is your control center.

Four tabs keep your rollout organized. Use the Overview tab as your onboarding compass.
- Overview: track the 4-step Getting Started progress with badges (Not started → Done).
- Bots & documents: create/rename bots, upload Documents, trigger ingest, and view terms acceptance.
- WhatsApp: review or configure the number assigned, set persona/purpose, and view connection status.
- Usage & billing: view plan, wallet balance, included vs used pages/messages, and recent trends.

Launch your first bot - 4-step flow
Work through these four steps once and you have a live WhatsApp bot.
- Step 1 - Create a bot: Bots & documents → + New bot → name, purpose, docs summary → Save.
- Step 2 - Upload Documents: choose your bot, upload Documents, accept terms, and start ingestion.
- Step 3 - Connect WhatsApp: configure the assigned number or run embedded signup, set purpose and docs summary, then Save settings.
- Step 4 - Add credits: Usage & billing → Add credits → complete payment (e.g., Razorpay) to fund ingestion and messaging.

- Bot: the persona and behavior that answers questions from a Documents collection.
- Documents: PDFs uploaded for a bot; chunked and embedded into a collection.
- Collection: the Qdrant index tied to a bot; each bot has its own collection.
- Workspace: your tenant; holds bots, Documents, users, and billing.
